My first thoughts on Oogl

Here’s my first try with Oogl camera app from Hipstamatic. I haven’t used it enough to write a review at this moment. Still, I have a few quick thoughts. The app does not allow me to import shots from the native camera or any other camera apps, including the Hipstamatic camera. Not sure if this is a Boo! or a Yay! or a Boo! that turns into a Yay! At least this should filter out all the spamming-bacon-loving-coffee-enthusiasts who have plagued Instagram. It also narrows the field of users to iPhone-using mobile photographers. The Oogl experience looks and feels consistent with Hiptamatic’s Snap Magazine and the Make Beautiful pages on Hipstamatic’s website. The app includes a paid service. The one I’m looking at is 99¢ per month. I am definitely interested enough to pay the 99¢ and keep exploring Oogle for the next few weeks.

When I'm not busy with my churchy duties, I write, make deliveries for my wife's flower shop, and snapping pics with my iPhone.
